Some of us think with a pen. Not a keyboard, not a voice memo: a pen, and something to scribble on. Paper is great at this. It’s quiet, it never pings, and it doesn’t care about your streak. It is also terrible at search, and it’s always in the other bag.
Penna is our go at keeping the good half. A page that feels like a page, tools that get out of the way, and your notes on every screen you own, without handing them to anyone else.
A few things we care about
- The pen comes first. Ink should land where the nib is, at the weight you meant.
- The page gets the screen. Buttons are thin, off to the side, and happy to fold away.
- Your notes are yours. No account to write, no ads, no tracking, nothing read off your device.
- Fair pricing. Writing is free. You only pay for sync, because that’s the bit that costs us money to run.
Who we are
Penna Notes is made by Pentacom Software, a small independent software company. “Penna” is Italian for pen, which seemed fitting.
